Lenard will present the results of its ongoing technical fabric innovation process for protection and safety in the workplace at the international Techtextil fair to be held in Frankfurt from 14 to 17 May.
One of the highlights at the stand will be a demonstration, after different launderings and under extreme conditions, of the difference between a garment made with the R1 Xispal RS range and other fabrics with blends of more common textile fibres.
R1 technology guarantees maximum fabric durability, making businesses such as renting much more profitable.
R1 technology combines four aspects to guarantee this durability:
- Addition of a small % of PA in its fibre mixture, leading to improved mechanical strength.
- An improvement in the preparation of the fibres in the fabric during the process prior to dyeing, which helps to fix the dye better.
- Use of a new range of dyes with cutting-edge chemical technology to maintain the colour through repeated launderings.
- A new finishing method to increase fibre protection, resulting in less tissue fibrillation.
Lenard will also present the new Polar 938 VALEN-T fabric in high visibility orange, containing protection features against flames and electric arcs, in addition to being an anti-static fabric.
The durability of this fabric is particularly remarkable. It is wear-resistant, it presents great colour solidity and its permanence is certified even after 50 washes, as per the EN 6330 standard.
Our booth E41, in Hall 4.1, will also exhibit the complete Xispal R1 collection, the new fabric for polo shirts, the 822 R1 Xispal RS, and the new Polar 938 VALEN-T fabric in high visibility orange.
